Essex's Premier Garage Door Company

One of the pulley cables snapped on my 50 year old “up and over” garage door. I searched on TrustaTrader and found Essex Prestige Doors Ltd. I was concerned that whoever I used would force me into buying an expensive replacement instead of repairing it. I needn’t have worried with Essex Prestige Doors. I spoke to the very helpful and friendly Kerry at 13:45 and by 15:35 the cheerful and extremely skilled partnership of Ryan and Harry had replaced both cables and I had a perfectly working garage door! Both Ryan and Harry warned me that due to the age of the door and more specifically, the tension spring, may be too dry and fatigued to handle the new tension, which could mean replacing the door. However, they also said that their aim was to repair the door at the lowest expense to me – thankfully that was the case and they lubricated all moving parts without extra expense. I highly recommend the company for their honest, efficiency, value for money and skills. Thank you
